Shipping & Fulfillment

Library Obscura sources its collection from a network of academic presses, specialty printers, and independent publishing houses.

All orders ship via USPS for a flat rate of $7 per order, regardless of the number of books purchased.

This allows readers and collectors to build their personal libraries without incurring additional shipping costs for larger orders.

While many titles ship within a few business days, some volumes are produced in small batches or printed on demand at the time of order to ensure ongoing availability of scholarly and out-of-print works.

Because of this, fulfillment times may vary:

  • Most orders ship within 3–5 business days

  • In certain cases, printing and fulfillment may take up to 7–10 business days

  • During periods of high demand or seasonal weather delays, fulfillment may occasionally take longer

Once shipped, delivery time will depend on carrier transit time.

You will receive tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges

At Library Obscura, we understand that purchasing books online — particularly rare, scholarly, or esoteric works — requires a degree of trust.

If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your order, you may return your item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

We offer:

  • Free returns on all domestic orders

  • A full refund to your original payment method

  • No restocking fees

Returned items must be in their original condition.

To initiate a return, please contact us through the correspondence form on this page with your order number and the reason for return. We will provide a prepaid return label and instructions for sending the item back to us.

Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.
